Allan Tennant became a member of the executive of the DDA in 1994. He was Secretary of the Association from 1998-2000 and is currently DDA Vice-Chairman
He is also responsible for the Association’s website, DDA Online, and has been doing this role since the inception of the original website back in 1998.
As a single parent with three great kids, aged 13, 11 and eight, he does his clinical work three days a week and works one day a week for the DDA. His time working for the DDA is divided between advising members, writing for the website, scouring the internet for issues of relevance to dispensing doctors and attending meetings. In terms of his clinical work, he took over the running of his practice dispensary soon after joining the practice in 1993.
His main areas of expertise are opposing or making Pharmacy Applications, setting up Limited Companies and prescribing.
