The Government has announced that it is continuing to plan for a no deal scenario on 29 March.

In an update letter, it advises that NHS healthcare professionals are asked to continue the work being undertaken to prepare organisations for leaving the EU without a deal.

A Government spokesman said: “While we never give guarantees, we are confident that, if everyone – including suppliers, freight companies, international partners, and the health and care system – does what they need to do, the supply of medicines and medical products should be uninterrupted in the event of exiting the EU without a deal.”
