The DDA has added a template ‘letter to the editor’ to its election lobby resources.

This can be downloaded here, or used in combination with the full range of pre-election lobby materials created by the DDA. These resources are designed to highlight to election candidates the importance of creating a new system of drug reimbursement, that does not disadvantage dispensing practices and their patients.

Please copy and paste the letter into the body of an email and sign off with your organisation’s name, registered address and phone number. Newspapers will not reprint these details but require them to verify the legitimacy of the letter.

Contact details for the letters page of your local newspaper can be found both in the pages of the publication and on their website. If you are unable to find an address for a dedicated letters desk, we recommend you send it to the newsdesk or directly to the editor (i.e. newsroom@shropshirestar.co.uk or yp.editor@jpimedia.co.uk).
