Anyone who is sexually active is at risk of contracting a sexually transmitted infection.

Many infections can be cured, while others can only be managed in order to try and prevent them getting worse or given to others, but in many cases STIs are symptomless, meaning that it is all too easy for individuals to pass them on without realising.

This training, available free and exclusively to DDA members, is designed to provide practice dispensary staff with the first of two modules on sexually transmitted infections.

Throughout this training, you will find various activities to help reinforce your learning. Ten, multiple choice questions at the end will help you identify any areas needing a quick recap. Dispensers scoring at least eight correct answers out of 10 can download a certificate of completion.

DDA members can access the training in the online library of dispenser education modules.
