Dispensing practices can ignore an email sent out by Phoenix today advising of the decision to move the direct debit collection date to the last working day of each calendar month, commencing 31st August 2022 (for July 2022 purchases).

The DDA has been in touch with Phoenix, which is now aware that dispensing practices are not eligible to receive earlier payments from NHS BSA, unlike pharmacies.

Dispensing practices should receive a confirmation email from Phoenix, advising of the cancellation today or tomorrow (Aug 12).  Please let the office know if this confirmation is not received.

The DDA will be taking up the issue of the payment arrangement disparity with NHS England.
