Scottish GP contract leaders are seeking case studies of learning and good practice in the six contract priority areas for remote and rural areas: vaccinations, community treatment and

care services, pharmacotherapy, urgent care, physiotherapy, mental health, and working with multidisciplinary team members such as community link workers.

Please send an email to: PCRural@gov.scot.

The remote and rural GP contract short-life working group (SLWG) is meeting next week, Tuesday 11 December, and again in March and June 2019. The team has been joined by Dr Charlie Siderfin, an Orkney GP and advisor to the primary care division of the Scottish Government. Practices wishing to host a SLWG team visit should respond by email.

Further information on rural initiatives, including the launch of a Scottish GP recruitment website, are available in the remote and rural SLWG November bulletin, available on the SLWG website.

The first meeting of the dispensing SLWG, attended by the DDA, is available on DDA Online.
