Welsh GP regulator Healthcare Inspectorate Wales has announced its intention to resume full onsite inspection programme from Thursday 1 July 2021.

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic the majority of our assurance work has been undertaken offsite in the form of quality checks, although some onsite work has been introduced from Monday 26 April.

Offsite quality checks may remain as part of ongoing assurance activity, HIW has said.
