Surgery teams are asked to check for the presence of conformity markings on several devices. These markings support the relevant certification required for legal supply on the UK market.

The alert relates to devices including:

Bipson’s Gauze Swab Sterile; Bipson Surgical Private Ltd
Romsons Alco Swabs; Romsons Group Private Ltd
Medi Grip Adhesive Bandage (Antiseptic); Precision Coatings (P) Ltd

Although no quality issues have been identified, practice teams are asked to quarantine any remaining stock, and use compliant alternatives.
