Plans are now underway for the DDA’s 2017 annual conference on Wednesday 18 October and Thursday 19 October following a very successful 2016 annual conference held in conjunction with Best Practice.
These events are held annually at the NEC in Birmingham.
Feedback from delegates visiting the 2016 annual conference shows the value of coming to a DDA conference
Prab Uppal, GP at the Albrighton Medical Practice: “As a GP looking at the dispensing side of the practice, this has really helped to give me a better understanding. There’s lots of good medical information available here. The quality of the event is very good.”
John Evans, practice manager at the Yoxall Health Centre: “This show is very useful for finding out what is going on in the wider sector and learning best practice. The dispensing bit of the show has been very good.”
Rachel Balcombe, purchasing manager at the Riverside surgery, North Lincolnshire:
“[The conference] helps us to understand whether we are doing the right thing with our prescribing and what we doing is profitable. This event helps us to see where we need to make changes. It keeps us all up to date and we find it really useful.”
Year after year, the DDA annual conference offers a unique networking opportunity and the 2016 event was no exception. Over the two days of the annual conference, over 150 dispensing practice GPs and other staff visited the DDA stand to network with Board members and receive the help and advice of the DDA team.
The conference provided over seven hours of high quality and bespoke education and thought-leadership for dispensing practices – once again proving the value of DDA membership.
Reports from the 2016 annual conference are now available, and they can be accessed via the conference news portal on the right hand side of this page.
Conference presentation slides are available now for DDA members in the DDA members’ resource zone.
We thank you for your interest in the DDA Annual Conference, and we look forward to seeing you in 2017.
