DDA adds SOP for lone dispensary drivers

An SOP supporting the safety and performance of dispensary driver lone workers and a dispensary driver competence assessment checklist have been added to the library of Standard Operating Procedures.

The purpose of the SOP: Dispensary Driver Lone Worker is to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of dispensary drivers who work alone while delivering medications to patients’ homes. It outlines measures to reduce risks and ensure drivers remain connected, protected, and accountable.

DDA members can view the SOP in the DDA’s online library of Standard Operating Procedures.
