DDA podcast looks at private weight loss clinics

Oral orforglipron GLP1 (marketed in the USA by Lilly as Foundayo) was authorised for use in weight management and type 2 diabetes in August 2026, in a UK first.

In this new DDA podcast, the 12th in our series, DDA Communications Officer Ailsa Colquhoun speaks to Usmaan Hafiz. He is the practice pharmacist at DDA member practice Garstang Medical Practice in Lancashire and lead pharmacist at the practice's Kepple Lane pharmacy.
