DDA publishes thyroid disorders dispenser education

For a little butterfly-shaped gland less than 5cm wide and weighing 10-20g, the thyroid gland plays an outsize role in the body.

This training, available free and exclusively to DDA members, is designed to provide practice dispensary staff with background information on the disorders of the thyroid gland and management of the symptoms these cause. 

Various activities are included in the training to help reinforce your learning. Ten, multiple choice questions at the end will help you identify any areas needing a quick recap. There is also a certificate of completion for your CPD records.

DDA  members can view the training, self assessment and the certificate of completion in the online library of Dispenser Education Modules
