Myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), also known as chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), is estimated to affect between 250,000–750,000 people in the UK. It’s a complex condition that affects multiple body systems with variable, unpredictable and fluctuating symptoms.
However, the figures could be higher as there is no clear definition of the condition and it is underdiagnosed.
This training, available free and exclusively to DDA members, is designed to provide practice dispensary staff with background information on chronic fatigue syndrome so you can help your patients better manage their condition.
