DDA updates headache dispenser training

If asked to name the most common diseases in the world, chances are that the likes of diabetes, heart disease and asthma would feature highly. However, according to the Migraine Trust, tension-type headache and migraine take the number two and three spots.

This updated training, available free and exclusively to DDA members, is designed to provide practice dispensary staff with background information on headache so you can help your patients better manage this condition.
By the end of this article you will:

• Know the symptoms of the more common headache disorders
• Understand how each is classified and managed
• Be able to support and advise patients on self-care and prevention strategies
• Be aware of the symptoms and signs that require further investigation
