DHSC publishes initial December concessions

The Department of Health and Social Care has added six items to the November concessions list in a final update.

The six items are:

• Desloratadine 5mg tablets 30          £4.56
• Melatonin 1mg/ml oral solution sugar free 150 £50.50
• Memantine 20mg tablets 28          £7.99
• Mercaptopurine 50mg tablets 25          £22.41
• Travoprost 40micrograms/ml / timolol 5mg/ml eye drops 5        £10.59
• Vardenafil 20mg tablets 4             £3.65

DDA members can view a fully updated list of November concessions and download a fully updated speadsheet in the online library of drug tariff updates.

Three of those items will roll over as concession prices into December 2024:

• Desloratadine 5mg tablets 30          £4.56
• Travoprost 40micrograms/ml / timolol 5mg/ml eye drops 5        £10.59
• Vardenafil 20mg tablets 4             £3.65
