The National Centre is calling for evidence to create a toolkit for tackling workforce issues and health inequalities in rural and coastal areas.
This toolkit will focus on workforce issues contributing to health inequalities in rural and coastal areas in the UK and beyond. This will aim to highlight nuanced challenges seen in rural areas in relation to ageing populations, recruiting younger people into the workforce, transport issues and housing costs.
The National Centre is seeking insights, case studies, and best practice examples from around the world to showcase how different regions support their rural and coastal communities.
All rural stakeholders are invited to respond, to set out challenges and suggestions for addressing workforce issues in these areas.
