Initial May concession prices published for England and Wales

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has published its initial list of price concessions for May 2024.

In a statement, Community Pharmacy England has strongly opposed the introduction of concession price management as an additional margin reduction mechanism as it delays the announcement of concessions process. “Dispensing at a loss will have very serious consequences for the sector, patients and the wider primary care system,” it says.
