MSN: Propranolol 80mg and 160mg modified release capsules

DHSC has issued a Tier 2 medicine supply notice for propranolol 80mg and 160mg:

Propranolol 80mg modified release capsules: out of stock until early March 2026
Propranolol 160mg modified release capsules: out of stock from late November 2025 until mid-late January 2026
GP teams are advised that propranolol 40mg and 80mg tablets (immediate release) remain available and can support an increase in demand.
Propranolol oral solution is also available but cannot support an increase in demand
