NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and the National Centre for Remote & Rural Health & Care is seeking interest from individuals with an interest and project experience in pre-registration placements for AHPs, to support with increasing access to remote, rural & island placements within primary and community care.
The project aims to gather information on barriers and difficulties AHP learners experience within practice placements and create a strategy to increase equity of access.
The three main themes to address are:
NHS Scotland employees at band 7 or below will be funded at their existing band. Up to 60 days of work is available up until 31 March 2025. Ideally, this will be shared by three people.
