Scotland adds £20m to Tariff prices
Dispensing practice windfall estimated at £15K over the year
The Scottish Government has increased the value of the Scottish Drug Tariff by £20m to address increasing drug costs.
This will equate to an estimated extra £15,200 per dispensing practice during the year.
A circular published on June 5 advises that from 1 May 2023 until March 2024, the prices of around 180 lines in Part 7 will change to deliver the additional £20m.
