Alert: Paliperidone Mercury Pharma prolonged-release suspension for injection in pre-filled syringes

Mercury Pharmaceuticals Ltd is recalling multiple batches of Paliperidone Mercury Pharma prolonged-release suspension for injection in pre-filled syringes (50mg, 75mg, 100mg and 150mg strengths).

This is a precautionary measure due to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) deficiencies cited during a recent inspection.

Dispensary teams are asked to quarantine all stock and return it to your supplier using your supplier’s approved process. They are also asked to contact affected patients to arrange a medication review.
