Amended pharmacy regs reduce 100 to 72 hour opening

Out of hours and Sunday opening unaffected

Amended pharmacy regulations have come into effect, enabling 100-hour pharmacies to reduce their opening hours to a minimum of 72 hours per week.

This amendment excludes reducing hours after 5pm and on Sundays.

In addition to the opening hours changes, the amendment also tightens up the pre-opening period of a successful pharmacy application
