DDA assured of dispensing practice inclusion

The DDA has secured an assurance from the BMA that dispensing practice income remains a key element in national GP payment negotiations.

The assurance follows the publication by the BMA of the Safety, Stability and Hope vision to rebuild general practice in England, which makes profession-wide proposals.

Commenting, DDA Chairman Dr Richard West said: “The DDA is working closely with the BMA to secure a more sustainable future for dispensing practice. We look forward to the time when we can share specific dispensing practice proposals for negotiation with members.”
