DDA publishes erectile dysfunction dispenser learning module

Erectile dysfunction (ED) can hugely affect a man’s quality of life - and that of his sexual partners. What you may not realise is that the regular inability to get and maintain an erection sufficient to have sex can be an early warning sign of more severe health issues, so it’s important to take it seriously.

This training, available free and exclusively to DDA members, is designed to provide practice dispensary staff with background information on the diagnosis and management of erectile dysfunction

By the end of this training, dispensers will:

Be aware of the impact of erectile dysfunction
Recognise the causes and risk factors associated with erectile dysfunction
Be alert to the fact that erectile dysfunction can be a sign of more serious disease
Understand the various treatment options for erectile dysfunction

Throughout this training, you will find various activities to help reinforce your learning. Ten, multiple choice questions at the end will help you identify any areas needing a quick recap. There is also a certificate of completion for your CPD records.
