Dispensing feescale adjusted by -0.2p from October

The October 2024 and April 2025 feescales for dispensing practices in England and Wales have been published.

This change reduces the dispensing fee from October 2024 to an average of 218.7 per item, an average of 0.2p less than in April 2024 (note band changes compared to April 24).

From April 2025, the feescale falls by an average of 5.37p per item to 213.3p, compared to October 2024.

This year, new methodology has been incorporated to reduce the yo-yo effect of the biannual feescale changes. However, for the first time in a decade, the DDA was not consulted on the new methodology either before or after the October feescale was established.
