EpiPen reimbursement price increased for March

Increase is more than 50%

The DHSC has confirmed that EpiPen products have had their reimbursement price redetermined for March 2023 to reflect an increase in their NHS list price. The increases are as follows:

EpiPen 300micrograms/0.3ml (1 in 1,000) solution for injection auto-injectors

• 1 pack – increased from £34.30 to £53.80
• 2 pack – increased from £68.60 to £107.60

EpiPen Jr. 150micrograms/0.3ml (1 in 2,000) solution for injection auto-injectors

• 1 pack – increased from £34.30 to £53.80
• 2 pack - increased from £68.60 to £107.60

The relevant price increase will also apply to the associated generic product listed in Part VIIIA which references one of these products, said NHS Business Services Authority on March 31^st.
