Fife Local Medical Committee has urged dissatisfied GP patients to contact MSPs.
In a letter, also read by the Scottish Parliament, the LMC letter reads:
If you’re not satisfied with the service you receive, look beyond the practice and instead hold those with the power to improve matters to account. The Scottish Government needs to do more to directly support general practice, the bedrock of the NHS. Please contact your MSP.
In response,
First Minister (John Swinney) said: “I greatly value the contribution that general practices make to the nation’s health. I want to make sure that general practices have the support that they need in order to deliver on their commitments.”
