Three Sonex Pharma products affected

Three faulty Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) have been identified in several batches of the following Strandhaven Limited t/a Somex Pharma lines:

•  Clarithromycin 250mg and 500mg film-coated tablets
• Tramadol Hydrochloride 50mg Capsules, Hard

The affected PILs are missing information in section 2: What you need to know before you take [this medicine].

An updated PIL for tramadol is available from Somex Pharma. At the time of writing, no updated PIL is available for the affected clarithromycin lines: affected patients should be advised of the missing information and the medicine suitability checked.

Neither medicine is being recalled.
