Village bus services take centre stage in Green party manifesto

The Green party has pledged to revive village bus services, ensuring there is a service to every village.

The manifesto for the 2024 general election also pledges a £2bn capital investment in primary care over the next five years and annual primary medical care funding of up to £1.5bn by 2030.

There are also plans to widen access to the HIV prevention pill from GPs.

To reduce GP administration, hospital doctors will be enabled to make onward referrals without needing to go back to a patient’s GP.
